may i say… the last two nights harry seemed the most authentically him that i’ve ever seen him. even before he got on stage i knew we would see a side of him we hadn’t shown us before, not exactly, but i wasnt prepared for All That. dressing up as dorothy one night and very very blatantly referencing being her friend and alluding to his sexuality
(is it still alluding if he’s being that obvious), and then coming out as pierrot lunaire the next night—someone known for not “fitting in” and not being taken seriously, someone who “allows the artist playing him to explore beyond societal gender expectations without being seen as a threat.” these costumes were for him first and foremost, and then for us. this was the most comfortable and at ease i’ve seen harry on stage and it makes me so happy. can only begin to imagine how he must’ve felt being up there knowing he’s loved by so many people so being exactly who he is.
